You need a masters degree in file extensions to figure this crap out. Thank bananas my VPN provider, NordVPN, made their own app that is super simple. Screw this App. Keep it simple stupids. Try NordVPN.

Great for free. Have had some problems accessing it in crowded locations, like anywhere in midtown Manhattan. Password changes frequently so you have to stay on your toes. But when it works, it works seamlessly. Good tutorial steps you through the install easily.

Why doesnt it work correctly this 2 days in iran? I can not connect to any server i try.

Needs to show a notification when there is a disconnect so the user knows the VPN is down.

In desperate need of an update.

Imports the config (.ovpn) without problems but then says bad or missing files ca.crt client.crt client.key Even when I have specifically emailed them along with the .ovpn file. So it forces you to use password authentication (which is a joke from a security standpoint) please fix this - Admins Everywhere

I rely on this app all the time. It’s rock solid and can’t thank the developers enough for that. But it would be even better if the interface gets refreshed for a more modern look AND a Today widget be added. I would happily pay for such upgrade.

Im using OpenVPN 1.0.5 on two iPads and two iPhones now running iOS 9.3. After a device has been inactive for an hour or so, OpenVPN does not reconnect automatically when the device restarts (even though the settings are default and it is supposed to Reconnect on Wakeup). I dont know if this is an iOS bug or an OpenVPN bug, but its a problem--users tend not to notice. This makes the app a lot less useful.

I dont think this app is going to be updated. It worked fine for me on iPhone6 with iOS8 last year. I havent been able to connect since going to iOS9. There are plenty of complaints on the blog about it. I suspect OpenVPN Technologies wants us to switch to their Private Tunnel app which works on iOS9.3.

If youre a VPN user looking for top security, OpenVPN is a necessity. This app doesnt allow many options through the app but it still gets the job done superbly =) this is a must have

Excellent app, works as promised. Some requests: Support .conf extensions since they tend to be fairly common. It has been a while since an update has been issued; there has been a few version bumps for PolarSSL, but openvpn connect hasnt kept up.

Stopped working. Getting same (or similar) error as others have noted here. PolarSSL changed but app not updated. Practically abandonware since no update in almost 2 years and no response on OpenVPN forums :(
